Alfredo Salinas Alanis' Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Alfredo Salinas Alanis, age, 82, on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Solara Hospital in McAllen. Alfredo, was a dearly husband, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on June 21, 1940 in Los Aldamas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Aurelio Salinas+ and Genova Alanis Salinas+. He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Garcia Salinas and his loving children, Guillermo (Adriana) Salinas, Jose Alfredo (Mara) Salinas, Rogelio (Belinda) Salinas, and Maribel (Reynaldo) Salinas, Rosalba (Santiago) Salinas, Aurelio (Juanny) Salinas. Survivors also include his 13 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday November 29, 2022 8:00 am to 12:00 pm with a chapel service 11:00 am. Follow burial at St. John's Cemetery in Rio Grande City 12:10 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
