Adolfina Castaneda's Obituary
Adolfina Castaneda, Age, 92, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Mission, Texas. She was born on May 27, 1928, in Mexico, to Genaro and Sofia Padro. She is preceded in death by her parents, Genaro and Sofia Padro and her husband, Miguel Castaneda. She is survived by her children, Valentin Castaneda, Elba Flores, Angelica Pena, Yolanda Flores, Maria Zavala and Nicaela Reza, Rosa Gutierrez, San Juanita Lopez, Silvia Ruiz, Miguel Castaneda, Esmeralda Gonzalez, Adolfina Seruiln. Survivors also include and her 49 grand-children, numerous great-grand-children. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Visitation will take place at Hernandez Funerals in La Joya on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday May 15, 2021 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow to La Joya Cemetery at 11:10 am.
