MRS. ADELFA VALDEZ RAMIREZ, LA GRULLA, TEXAS - Mrs. Adelfa Valdez Ramirez entered into eternal rest on September 10, 2021 at her residence in La Grulla, Texas at the age of 84. Born on April 2, 1937 in La Grulla to Mauro Valdez Mendoza and Manuela Zarate, she had lived in La Grulla all of her life. Adelfa was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who came to know her. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Norma Jo Solis (Cutberto), and Gloria R. Salinas (Eduardo Jr.,) and her sons Roman Ramirez Jr.+ (Baudelia) and Noe Javier Ramirez (Laura). Survivors also include her 9 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family on Monday September 13, 2021 at the Hernandez Funeral Chapel of Peace,701 E .Eisenhower, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday September 13, 2021 at the Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow to the Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla at 3:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
