Adelfa Lopez's Obituary
Adelfa Lopez, Age, 94, passed away on Wednesday, May 05, 2021, at Rio Grande City Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on September 27, 1926, in Escobares, Texas to Furtunato and Agapita Gonzalez Lopez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Enrique Lopez Jr., and her sons, Adolfo Enrique Lopez, Victor Lopez. She is survived by her children, Maria Elena Villarreal, Adelina Rivera, Marybella Martinez. Survivors also include and her 9 grand-children, 18 great-grand-children and 4 great-great-grand-children. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Visitation will take place at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City on Saturday, May 08, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Sunday May 09, 2021 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am follow to Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:30 am.
