Carito as she was fondly known was always so loving and generous with our family. She loved my children like her own . Every Christmas close to the 25th she would cook her wonderful tamales . Sometimes mixed , and in special occasions , she would make them out of corn my favorite. They were made with love and the leaves would be so perfect , you could tell she measured them and cut them by hand. The taste was just delightful, especially during the Holiday season. I always remember Raul, her husband accompanying my father in law to the ranches , never leaving his side . Helping him with a birthing cow or just singing at " Ladies night " on Friday and Saturday. Carito was an excellent dancer and it was always a joy to hear her talking of her daughter Rosa and her son in law and her grandchildren . I loved to visit her and to see her backyard lit with lights like a festival . Always ready for a family party . She was a humble strong soul . She is resting now .
They are all having a great time right now up in heaven Papo Basilio , Mamo Socorro, Raul and Carito .
