Manuela G. Rodriguez

October 11, 1935 - November 30, 2021

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Manuela G. Rodriguez on Tuesday November 30, 2021 at the age, of 86, in Mission, Texas. Manuela was our dearly loved wife, daughter, sister, grand-mother, great-grandmother, aunt, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Manuela was born on October 11,1935 in Mexico, to Cruz and Francisca O. Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cruz and Francisca O. Garcia and her husband, Juan Manuel Rodriguez Sr. She is survived by her loving daughters, San Juanita R. (Lorenzo) Medina, Maria Isabel Rodriguez, her son, Juan Manuel (Elda C.) Rodriguez Jr. Survivors also include her 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Friday December 03, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday December 04, 2021 from 8:00 am to 10:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 11:00 am. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 12:15 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
