Manuel Alanis

August 26, 1929 - February 4, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Manuel Alanis, on Friday, February 04, 2022, at the age of 92, in Rio Grande City, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Viviano Alanis and Julia Garcia Alanis also by her loving wife, Evangelina Alanis, her loving son, Margarito Alanis. He will lovingly be remembered by his loving children, Nora Delia Garcia, Manuel Alanis Jr., and Mario Alanis, Maria de Lourdes Gutierrez. Survivors also include her 17 grand-children as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 05, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Sunday February 06, 2022 pending. Follow Burial at La Paz Cemetery in Rio Grande City at. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
