Hortencia G. Barrera, Age, 94 passed away on Monday, May 02, 2022 at her residence in Rio Grande City surrounded by her family. She was born on September 29,1927 in Valadeces, Tamps, Mexico, to Epifanio Gonzalez and Blasa Ramirez. She was a great daughter, mother, wife, sister, grand-mother, great-grand-mother, and a good friend to all. She will be dearly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Epifanio Gonzalez + and Blasa Ramirez + also by her loving husband, Heraclio Barrera +. She is survived by her loving children, Maria de Los Angeles Rivera, San Juanita Isabel Barrera, Heraclio Barrera Jr, Carlos Barrera, Hortencia Barrera Gonzalez, and Ramon Barrera, Jorge Barrera, Zulema Barrera Zavala, Maricruz Barrera Rodriguez. Survivors also include 29 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren and nieces & nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday May 06, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Visitation continues on Saturday May 07, 2020 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Cristo Rey Church in La Victoria at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:00 Am. Funeral Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City.
