Francisca Ruiz

December 2, 1928 - February 14, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Francisca Ruiz, on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the age of 93, in Rio Grande City, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her loving parents, and her husband, Jose Santos Ruiz. She will lovingly be remembered by her loving children, Paula S. Preza, Jose Juan Salinas Mendoza, Reynalda Mendoza, Maria A. Pena and Jose Augusto Salinas Mendoza, Maria G. Lopez, Efrain Salinas Mendoza. Survivors also include her 30 grand-children, 75 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday February 18, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. Follow Burial at El Arroyo Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
