Fermin Francisco Alcazar, Age, 81, passed away on Friday March 25, 2022 at McAllen, Texas. He was born in Edinburg, Texas, on March 13,1941 to Pedro and Eva Garza Alcazar. He was a great father, brother, grand-father, son, and a good friend to all. He will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Pedro + and Eva Garza Alcazar+. He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma G. Alcazar and his son, Fermin Francisco Alcazar Jr and his grand-daughter, Savannah Alcazar. Survivors also include his siblings, Josefina A. (Abel) Saldana, Pedro (Amy) Alcazar, Luis Alcazar, Yolanda A. Flores +, Maria G. Alcazar, and Olivia A. Fraga, Antonio J. (Evelyn) Alcazar, Veronica A. (Eliott) Bazan, Rebecca A. (Paul) Darden. Visitation will be on Sunday March 27, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday March 28, 2022 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm with a chapel service at 12:00 pm and a Veterans Service at 12:40 pm follow by Cremation. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
