Federico Flores Jr.

October 3, 1939 - February 24, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Federico Flores Jr., on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the age of 82, in his residence in La Grulla, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, and his loving wife, Maria del Socorro Gonzalez Flores, also by his loving son, Jessie Flores. He will lovingly be remembered by his loving children, Susana Flores, Efrain Flores, Federico Flores III and Salome Flores, Glenda F. Solis. Survivors also include his 12 grand-children, 9 great-grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday, March 01, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 8:00 am - 9:30 am going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Los Solis's Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
