Delia Barrera De Garcia

June 2, 1929 - March 4, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Delia Barrera De Garcia, on Friday, March 04, 2022, at the age of 92, in Edinburg, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her loving parents, Andres Barrera Moreno and Antonia Garza Elizondo also her loving husband, Santos Garcia Lopez. She will lovingly be remembered by her loving children, Santos Garcia Barrera Jr., Maria N. Garcia Barrera, Jose Isaias Garcia Barrera and Isaias Garcia Barrera, Adriana Garcia Barrera. Survivors also include her 16 grand-children, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grand-children, as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 06, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday March 07, 2022 from 8:00 am to11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:30 am. Follow Burial at Los Garza Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
