David Jesus Casas

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of David Jesus Casas of Rio Grande City, Texas, on Thursday January 27, 2022 at the age, of 60, in McAllen, Texas. David Jesus was our dearly loved , son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anacleto and Ester Lara Casas and his brothers, Baldomero Casas, Ruben Casas, Anacleto Casas Jr. He is survived by his sisters, Agapita Blanco, Sara Montalvo, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 30, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, Texas. Viewing continues on Monday, January 31, from 8:00 am to 12:15 pm going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 12:30 pm. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 1:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
