Argelio Aguirre

April 7, 1952 - December 12, 2021

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Argelio Aguirre on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the age of 69. He will lovingly be remembered by his children: Anabel Barrera, Hilda Aguirre, Argelio Aguirre Jr., and Iris Aguirre, Jose Maria Aguirre, Amanda Vera, Abram Vera; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Argelio was preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Manuela Villarreal Aguirre. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Hernandez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City, TX from 1pm - 8pm with rosary services at 6pm. Viewing continues on Thursday December 16, 2021 from 1pm to 8pm with a rosary at 6pm. Mass will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to St. Paul Church in La Puerta. at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at La Puerta Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
