My lasting memory of Danny was in high school, I was fortunate to be on the football team and basketball team with him in 1970. I was honored to watch Danny up close do his thing, and it was a remarkable thing to see. He was so fast and athletic, unstoppable, if he had the ball he was going to score, that was all there was to it. Then in track I watched him pole vault, he could fly thru the air. Not only that, he was Valedictorian of our class, what an accomplishment. I tell my Grandsons that story to inspire them to do great things in school.

It is hard to believe that my best friend of 55 years has left us. My sincere condolences to Noelia, his children, and his siblings. We are very fortunate that there are plenty of memories to recall the good times that we shared.
