My deepest condolences during this difficult time. Mari was a beautiful soul and the glue that held an entire community together. She loved her co-workers and most of all the students she would see daily. All were welcomed in her office, to laugh, to cry, to be lifted up by her presence. All felt the love that she had for both adults and students. Recently, about three weeks ago, I went to drop off something at the school and walked into her office. I always felt at peace and welcomed in her office as she smiled and hugged everyone who entered. She wanted to tell me about one of the seniors who played violin, about his talent, and how great of a student he is. She kindly asked the student to play a song she loved, and without hesitating he immediately stopped what he was doing and picked up his violin. "For you Mrs. T anything!" He replied and played. This is just a small example of the love that the community and school had for Mari. A bright light gone too soon, now a beaming angel in heaven. We miss you Mari, we love you, you will always be in our hearts.
